1. About this website

This website is operated by Adam Lawrence-Rodriguez, trading as Relational Resonance.

2. Information on this website

The content on this website is provided for general information, reflection and to help you understand more about my therapy practice and how I work.

Website content is not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, legal or other professional advice. Reading this website, including material in the Reading Room, does not create a therapeutic relationship between us.

I aim to keep information accurate and reasonably up to date, but therapeutic, professional and practical information can change over time. If something is particularly important to your decision to begin therapy, you are welcome to ask me about it directly.

3. Therapy enquiries and initial consultations

Making an enquiry through this website, by email or by another contact method does not create a therapeutic relationship and does not guarantee that I will be able to offer ongoing therapy.

If we arrange an initial consultation, the consultation is a professional therapy session in its own right. It gives you an opportunity to speak about what has brought you to therapy and experience how I work, while also allowing me to consider whether ongoing work with me would be appropriate for what you are looking for.

Ongoing therapy begins only if, following the consultation, we mutually agree to continue working together and agree the practical arrangements for regular sessions.

4. The therapy agreement

These website terms do not set out the full terms of therapy. If we agree to work together, our therapeutic work is also governed by the therapy agreement provided to you.

That agreement contains the more detailed arrangements for matters such as session frequency, fees, payment, cancellations, confidentiality, communication and ending therapy.

If there is a difference between general information on this website and a specific term in the therapy agreement governing our work, the therapy agreement will apply to the therapeutic service.

5. Confidentiality, contact and urgent support

If we work together, confidentiality and its limits will be discussed as part of the consultation and therapeutic agreement.

Website enquiry forms, email and WhatsApp are not emergency or crisis services and should not be relied upon for urgent support.

If there is an immediate risk to life or safety, call 999 or attend your nearest Accident & Emergency department. If you need urgent medical or mental health support that is not an immediate emergency, contact an appropriate NHS, GP or local urgent-care service.

6. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the original text, written reflections, design elements and other original website content are owned by Relational Resonance or used with appropriate permission.

You may view, save or print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.

You must not reproduce, publish, distribute, adapt, sell or use substantial parts of the website for commercial purposes without written permission, except where the law otherwise permits.

7. Links to other websites

This website may include links to third-party websites, professional bodies, directories, resources or external services.

Links are provided for convenience or additional information. I do not control third-party websites and am not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices.

A link does not necessarily mean that I endorse everything contained on the external website.

I aim to keep the website available and functioning normally, but I cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

The website, particular pages or features may be changed, updated, suspended or temporarily unavailable, including where maintenance, technical problems or changes to third-party services make this necessary.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to this, I am not responsible for loss or damage arising solely from circumstances outside my reasonable control, from the actions or services of third-party websites, or from reliance on general website content where I have not breached a legal duty owed to you.

This website is primarily intended for people using it for personal purposes. Nothing in these terms affects any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
